Safely and quickly remove animal identification tags with the Y-Tex Ear Tag Removal Safety Knife.

Removing animal identification tags without the proper tool can harm the animal resulting in ear tearing, pain and bleeding. The Y-Tex Ear Tag Removal Safety Knife utilizes the industry standard hook design to protect the animal and the user.  Designed to slice through the male part of the tag quickly and easily, while protecting the user and livestock from the sharp blade. Works on most 1 or 2 piece tags. 

This super-sharp blade and hook design is intended to make removing ear tags safe, quick and easy.  Works with most brands of ear tags. Measures approximately 8" long. Includes a magnet on the handle making the knife easy to store between uses.  Also easy to slip into a pocket or pocket knife holder.  Includes a hole in the handle to add a ring, string or leather loop so that you can hang the knife in a convenient location.
