Fiebing's Hoof Dressing

Fiebing’s Hoof Dressing is a product designed to condition, moisturize, and protect horse hooves. Here’s how to use it effectively:

1. PREPARATION -  Ensure that the horse’s hooves are clean and dry before applying the dressing. Use a hoof pick to remove any debris or dirt from the hoof’s surface. You may also choose to clean the hooves with a mild soap and water solution, allowing them to dry completely before proceeding.

2. SHAKE CAN THOROUGHLY - Before using Fiebing’s Hoof Dressing, shake the can to ensure that the product is thoroughly mixed.

3. APPLICATION - Apply the hoof dressing generously to the entire surface of the hoof, including the coronet band, hoof wall, sole, and frog. You can use the included applicator brush or a clean, soft brush to apply the dressing. Ensure even coverage and pay special attention to any dry or cracked areas.

4. MASSAGE IN - Use the hoof brush to massage the dressing into the hoof, ensuring that it penetrates deeply and reaches all areas. This helps to moisturize and condition the hoof, promoting healthy growth and preventing cracking or splitting.

5. ALLOW ABSORPTION - Allow the hoof dressing to absorb into the hoof for some time. The absorption time may vary depending on factors such as temperature and humidity. Typically, you should let it sit for at least a few minutes to allow the hoof to absorb the dressing.

6. REPEAT AS NECESSARY - Depending on the condition of the hooves and the environment in which the horse is kept, you may need to reapply Fiebing’s Hoof Dressing regularly to maintain healthy hooves.

7. CLEAN UP - Clean any excess hoof dressing from your tools and work surface with soap and water to prevent buildup.
